I recently downloaded a free app, bought a subscription of a year in the app, didn't like it much and cancelled it. After i cancelled it i have found i cannot buy or download any apps at all. It says “Expiring on October 30 2026” A whole year later! Please help, i dont have the money to pay for the subscription and refund it again.

What do you mean by you cancelled it?
If you bought a one year subscription and cancelled it, you should be seeing the expiration date a year later as that is what you paid for. Cancelling will prevent it from being renewed. You must cancel a day before the renewal date to prevent it from being renewed.
If your payment method could not process the transaction for the subscription or renewal, it is no longer considered valid and you will have to pay for the amount you had agreed to pay before you are able to use the App Store again.
