according to Mactracker, I am not seeing a 15" MBA. but no matter. regardless of size, or model, the 2015 MBA and MBP both use a MagSafe 2 charger.

if you want, check Apple Menu > About This Mac to check which year and model MacBook you have.

I understand, but I disagree, it sounds like you're getting your “fraudulent/ungenine information from conservative propaganda. I ONLY use eBay, and never buy from Amazon. I was scammed once on eBay and it was my fault, eBay caught it immediately after my purchase, shut down the seller, and reversed my payment. They were excellent, and kept an eye on my mistake for (1) year after.

It’s difficult to extend Apple product or actually any product past a certain date. You do have to check out the source, but ebay has been an excellent source of continuing a product that has been annoyingly cancelled out so you have to buy a new model. Actually it’s Amazon I would be leery of. A company we will not stop buying from, a huge conglomerate taking over the country, and not one person is paying attention.

As for eBay, you have everyday people trying to sell old, discontinued, brand new overstock, collectible items at a price we can afford. A second income, trying to show their initiative in this do or die world with a mentality of the 1930s.

Lastly, we live in a “no regulation” country. You have to be careful with everything you do, purchase, contracting, and even opening the wrong email and click on something that will cost you. My rule is check (5) “legitimate” sources before you click.

I’m just making a recommendation. Whether or not to use ebay is your call —not mine.

Take part in these forums —and you’d see lots of it, including being sold and item that was never prepped for new usage (such as never signing out of their Apple Account), or being sold a fraudulent iPhone Battery.
