Posting on the Apple User-to-User Support Communities is always free.

There are many more Readers that Posters. In general, Readers tend to contribute only when they have something to add.

If you have an Apple-owned Store available, your appointment for a Hardware evaluation is free as well. if you need a repair, it will be quoted as a complete repair -- no surprise charges for additional trouble discovered during the repair process.

Your exceptionally well-crafted Macintosh computer does not accumulate filth that needs any third-party anything to clean it. Everything needed to run it efficiently was included in the box, except ONE: a drive on which to store a second copy of your files in case the first copy is damaged or deleted by accident. The backup software, Time Machine, is already present -- integrated deeply into MacOS.

Apple wants you to be a happy customer, if possible. Apple does not charge extra for things that might be needed. In general, users find that when they need a new feature, their Mac is already capable of that -- it is only a matter of finding out how to enable it.
