If you've just updated, give it 48-72 hours to fully reindex. The 'Photos' tab should appear after that.
If it's been that long and you still don't see it, or if you see it but it's missing some photos- go to Settings > Search > Messages and turn both toggles off, then back on. That should trigger an update.
