Notifications are off by default
I just got a brand new Macbook Air M4 running Sequoia 15.6 and it seems like notifications are off by default on all new apps that I install and even some built-in ones like Mail.
I've had two other macbooks from previous workplaces and this was never the case until now. It's caused me to miss important messages on apps like Slack and Zoom.
The applications notifications in the system setting are set to "off", and I'm not using any focus profiles like Do Not Disturb or anything.
Is anyone else facing this issue? Will I have to manually turn on notifications for every new app I install?
