Because OpenAI only supports Silicon Macs (M1-M4) for their software. You would need to ask them why that is the case.

You may want to read the many reviews of the Atlas Browser as there have been serious security concerns that have already been questioned. I won't post any links as I don't have a position on it myself, but security researchers have pointed out a number of problems where your security/privacy is at risk.

Third party apps need to be made compatible with OSs not the other way around.
