Imported video clips created time is defaulting to the time the clip ended rather than when it began?

When i import my files onto my desktop from and SD card or directly into Final Cut Pro from the camera the modified and created dates are the time the clip ended. If the clip is 10 minutes long and i use the Date/Time filter it shows the start time of the clip off by the length of the video. If i started shooting a clip at 1:00 am and the clip was 10 minutes long, the created date is changing to 1:10am. I know how to modify the time but this would require an enormous effort to keep the times true. I want to display the actual date and time on the video. Really appreciate anyone being able to help figure this out.

I think that's the camera you're shooting on. I just tested on a Panasonic Lumix GH6 and an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Both transfer with creation times of when recording stopped, not when it ended. What camera are you using?

I just changed the creation time of a few clips in FCP, everything works fine for me. So I have to ask, what camera make/model are you shooting on, and have you verified it has it's internal clock set to the correct time?

Thanks for the response Ben. There are several cameras. As an example on a Panasonic VX-981 we see the same issue. (internal clock is correct). Are you saying that when you tested it the creation time is when the recording stopped? Just to be clear, that is the issue I am trying to overcome. If the creation time is the time when the recording stopped and i have a video clip that is 15 minutes long and i add the date/time title to the timeline the actual time displayed will be off by 15 minutes. I want to display the actual times for certain clips. I can modify the creation times but as you can imagine when dealing with large numbers of clips with various lengths it is very time consuming. Any suggestions on how to import the clips showing the time when the video clip started rather than ended on FCP. The metadata does exist and when you view the time date in the camera it displays correctly.
