I have lost Excel files which are shown as........Library >> Mobile Documents >> .Trash
I didn't send them to Trash, and they don't seem to be in Trash. They seem to have totally disappeared!

Mac OS and Macs cannot just alter file locations on their own. Do you have any of the following types of third party apps installed on the computer or do you own a cat:
Each of these types of apps definitely have the capability to create unwanted behaviors with Mac OS. In addition, they are completely worthless as NONE of them do anything that Mac OS does not already have the ability to do.
This is the iMac forum. There is no "trash folder" on an iPhone.
