Finding duplicate images with different names in folders on Mac

Hello.

I have a lot of duplicate images with different names in various folders in my airbook OS Sequoia.

There is a way to find the duplicates without using the Photos App?

Thank you

Do I understand that you're asking about picture files in Finder rather than pictures in Photos? Even though you've come to the Community for the Photos app?

There are a number of apps in the App Store-- search for Duplicate Finder. I've used PhotoSweeper ($15) successfully.

But, except for PhotoSweeper, Never Ever Use Duplicate File Finders or Cleaners with Photos Library! Those apps can really mess up a Photos Library-- the Library doesn't work like Finder!

Another duplicate finder that we know for sure is OK for Photos is the trusted 3rd party app PowerPhotos ($40) which isn't for Finder.
