He reiniciado dos veces y nada. He reiniciado en modo seguro y tampoco. He restablecido la NVRAM y tampoco.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.7

Suddenly with my Mac Book Pro in hand, when I went to see the serial number on the back, the left speaker started to sound as if it were saturated. I've looked on some forums and what they say is that this may happen if you've changed OS, but that's not the case. It has suddenly hissed. I have restarted twice and nothing. I have restarted in safe mode and neither. I have reset NVRAM and neither. I have checked the audio output and neither. Is there any solution?

The speakers in the MBPro 2013-2015 models specifically tend to have a high rate of failure as they age. I suspect the speaker cones become dried out since the failures tend to be extremely distorted or even weak. Unfortunately I am not aware of any sources providing new replacement speakers. All of the replacement speakers I have found were used ones so they are likely going to be of very poor sound quality as well, they are unlikely to last very long.

You would be better off using external speakers, headphones, or earbuds.
