Connecting an old Samsung monitor (BN68-01570A-00) to a new iMac M4 2025
Hello all, I'll probably be receiving tomorrow my new iMac 25, M4 , 1 TB SSD, 16 GB memory and the other regular specs. It will replace the one I have working perfectly since 2013. This old one works with a 2nd monitor (mentioned above) connected via a VGA cable.
My idea is to do this connection in the new machine using a DVI cable and, just to see what would happen, I tried such today, with the old iMac replacing VGA by DVI, but it didn't work. Returning to the VGA connection, all returned to normal.
Do I need to set something in the Samsung monitor, so that it will work with DVI?
Thanks Paulo
