Playing music albums in chronological order

Since the upgrade to Mac os26 I have discovered that while my iOS devices still allow me to play all albums by one Artist in chronological order by simply playing the play button at the top, on my Mac this feature is no longer available, by default Mac OS automatically decides to play all the albums in alphabetical order and there is no feature to change this. Yes I have made sure that all of the albums are sorted in my library by release date, and they all appear in my a library in that order so that is not the issue. and yes my iPhone is set up exactly the same way and does play in the chronological order of release date, it is only may Mac running Tahoe that is encountering this issue. I have been in touch with apple support and they are no help, they can't even seem to understand what I am trying to do so Im reaching out to you guys to see if you can help
