Is the MacBook Air M4 24gb 512gb good enough for editing? I heard it doesn't have internal fans and I wonder how much it will bother me and if it won't heat up too quickly compared to the Pro

The hardware and software have built-in defenses to fight heat damage, including throttling of the processors and ultimately shutting down if temps reach their limit. This to prevent permanent damage.
The machine can handle the tasks, but it will get warm.
If you are greatly concerned by that, then avoid the issue and go with a MacBook Pro.

For light/small video editing it may be fine, but if you intend to do professional or even semi-professional video editing of HD 4k+ videos, then I would recommend a MacBook Pro over a MBAir. Whether you should have a standard M4 CPU or the Pro or Max versions depends on what you are doing.
512GB SSD is not a lot of storage when editing 4k+ HD videos. Again, it depends on what type of videos, size/length, etc.
