How do I set the "homepage" in safari on iPhone to a specific webpage

I want to set the "Homepage" in Safari, on my iPhone to a specific web address.

I don't want it pink, I don't want to add it to the standard Apple page, just a simple web address...

To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to set a homepage in Safari on the iPhone. You can save a particular page to your home screen as a website icon and then open from there.

I don't understand what you mean by you "don't want it pink."

That has never been an option on the iPhone. It is an option on the Mac. Perhaps that's what you're thinking of.

Have a gander at how the side bar in Safari on a laptop works. They have elected to group and organise things by type, with folders at the top, and specific web links at the bottom. I like to Organise things on my own.

Yes. It's a different kind of device with a different operating system. So, it's not surprising that it looks and works differently.

You can also see if a third-party browser better meets your needs. You have the option of changing your default browser to something else in the event you find something you like better.

Pink. It's a scurrilous cynical observation regarding how there is a trend to make things look good, when all I want is for them to be functional. The ability to edit the home page includes feature like that. I Just want it to open like it used to do. One was once able to set the home page to "current page". What has that feature disappeared?

I'm not a fan of icons. Thankfully they haven't made spreadsheet cells dynamic, so that each one is only as big as it needs to be.
