Screen Time glitch allowing YouTube access despite restrictions

I use screen time/family to control my son’s access to apps e.g. YouTube. However, recently he’s managed to workaround this somehow - he’s watching the YouTube app right now, even though his time is blocked and YouTube is not one of the “anytime” apps. He’s on the latest version of iOS but he’s been doing this for a while so I’m not sure the glitch is limited to that version. Please help me 😬

Thanks for your response.

I don’t think it’s the settings which are the problem. I’ve got it set so apps are blocked during downtime and if I go to his phone and click on the YouTube app I cannot access it, but he was definitely watching it the other day while screen time was blocked.

I also don’t think he’s discovered the screen time passcode either, I change that regularly.

I think there must be a glitch or back door he’s discovered…

Screen shot of settings attached, if there’s anything else I can provide for information let me know.
