Mac Mini M2 extended displays randomly go dark

Using a Mac Mini M2 running Tahoe. Have three monitors connected: Apple Thunderbolt Display and LG model BL45 as extended displays, with an Apple Studio Display as the main display.

Lately, the extended displays occasionally go dark for a few seconds and then return. Nothing has changed in the set up. Apple displays are connected via Mac Mini display ports and the LG is connected via HDMI. Noticed this anomaly while running Sequoia. Only remedy applied to date was Reset NVRAM however this has not resolved the issue.

Both of the Apple displays are set a resolution of 2048x1152, (60Hertz default) the LG is set to 1920x1080 60Hertz.

Numerous others have reported the same experience. It's been found to be the quality of the cable connecting the monitor to the Mini. Also one app, Zoom, was reported to be the problem. I had the same problem and removing the Zoom app solved it for me.

However, that's only two of many cases. Check your cables and get the best quality replacements possible. Always be sure you can send them back for a refund if they don't solve the problem. Also make sure the monitors are connected to the ports in the back of the Mini. The font don't support monitors.
