MS Word not working properly on iPad

I have been running MS 365, including MS Word, on my iPad on my current iPad (iPad Air 11-inch; iPadOS version 18.6.2) for about a year. Recently, it has been acting up, not deleting files when I've asked it to, telling me it can't upload my changes because someone else is editing the document (not the case), and otherwise making work difficult. I was having trouble with Excel awhile ago and was informed that reinstalling Excel might solve the problem. I did, and it did solve the problem. Now, I can't remember how I did that. Anyone know how to uninstall MS word and reinstall it on an iPad? Thanks!
