Brand new AirPods Pro 3 case won’t charge

I purchased the new AirPods Pro 3 on release day which was 19th September, all was well until the case wouldn’t charge. I used them at work on Tuesday, popped them in the case and now it won’t respond to any charger. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same issue or if I’ve ended up with a faulty case. Not sure which steps to take as there is no clear troubleshooting steps for the latest release. I have already tried resetting them by forgetting the device, however still will not charge and no light on them either. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I bought them to be able to use daily but now having to use my old cheap earbuds..
