Big flaw in call history in ios 26 version

After updating to ios26 version for my iPhone 16 pro there is a flaw in call history. When look up for recent call received in the call history it is not showing ‘recent’ against the phone No. received when that contact has multiple Nos. Whereas in iOS 18 version it will clearly show the recent call received when we click i button in case of multiple Nos. for a contact. Will the Apple take up the issue and set it alright

I have the same issue too as I have many contacts with multiple phone numbers, in the ios 26 the tag “recent” no longer shows next to the phone number when going to call log info!

However I have noticed that if you hold on the number then a menu will show up then tab on call or message and it will display the actual recent phone number ✅

.... Also, this issue seems to be a known bug in IOS 26 and it was scheduled for a fix on the 19th of November, but it still isn’t available, so please try what I’ve shared. At the very least, you’ll get your call logs without further persisting issues.

How could you possibly know that? How about seeing what may arrive in the next update which never was set for the 19th anyway.

And if it is, as you suggest, a known bug, what was the point of all the other procedures you suggested? IOS26.1 does not show "Recent" against the recent number. Period.

Report https://apple.com/feedback

and wait.

Why i don't understand apple launches updates fully public without letting public know about it, always forcasting just like huge success and assuming every iPhone owner is eagerly waiting for. Man this is pathetic[…]

Time to Release Updates:

iPhones, just like any phone, are all based on coding. It’s not just a matter of drag and drop. So, as Apple gathers feedback, they’ll see how diverse it is from many users’ point of views. The feedback is pretty diverse in ideas, and they, themselves, have to get things strait. The only catch I’d say, is that Apple has a tendency to provide updates to the devices for 7 years, and then stops proving them. Why 7 years? Got me? So, as I commonly recommend to many on the forums: Do your part and report this to Apple.

Whether it is classic or unified version, the call history must show which is the recent call number from a particular contact which is saved with mutiple numbers in the contacts app. I hope that I have explained the missing feature in ios 26 update under call history. It is giving the time of the calls received but not identifying the recent call number. One has to go round about to find the recent call number from a contact which is saved in the contacts app with multiple numbers

I am using an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and after upgrading to version 26.0.1, I’ve been experiencing the following issues:

Recent Contact Details Not Showing:

The phone history intermittently appears empty. When I try to save a new contact, it doesn’t appear in the “Recent Contacts” list. This becomes critical in emergency situations when I need to access recent contact details quickly.

Message Delays (Airtel eSIM):

I am using an Airtel network with an eSIM. Since the upgrade, text messages are either not received or take a long time to arrive. I contacted Airtel and even replaced the eSIM, but the issue persists. Airtel support mentioned it could be a software-related issue. This problem was not present in iOS 18. Additionally, I have to restart my phone to receive messages, and OTPs are often delayed, which is very inconvenient.

Intermittent Phone Hanging:

The phone occasionally hangs or freezes. This issue also did not occur in iOS 18.
