I’m so confused. My phone auto updated to 26.0.1 and now whenever I’m listening to anything, Spotify, YouTube, and I’m scrolling on Facebook everything is fine but once I go to close the Facebook app, all audio pauses. I don’t understand why because it’s not like I’m listening to anything through the Facebook app? It’s only started happening with the 0.1 update.

It happens to me too, I even have the new Facebook update and it still does it.
So I had to double check for the fb update and now I have it and it doesn’t pause the music anymore when you exit the app but now it pauses when I turn the volume up or down….
Facebook just updated for me and now it’s fixed.
Just got the new facebook update and now it is working again. Sweet. I was getting so frustrated
Why should it be free
Thinking Apple Music should be free because you have an iPhone is like thinking gas should be free since you have a car.
I thought I was tweaking to the point I was ready to delete the entire app lol thank god people reached out to them about it. Was losing my mind the last week over it
Facebook had an update that fixed the initial problem, but now the music stops as I move from page to page within Facebook. 🙄
Same. And when I move back and forth between Facebook pages.
Anyone saying “there’s an update that fixed this” is flat out wrong. This is ongoing and not fixed.
So experiencing the same issue and this person posted this on 10/02/2025 and you think an update from July will fix the issue?

I have tried everything. Turned off Facebook auto play, deleted, reinstalled and updated apps and iOS. Nothing has worked for me. It keeps turning off the sound.
October 10th. I updated both apps, and the issue persists.
