Audio/Music STOPS playing when closing the Facebook app

There is a new Facebook update out and it fixed the issue.

I had the same issue but the newest fb app update fixed the issue (thank goodness cuz I was going to lose it)!

Looks like the latest Facebook update 07/10/25 has fixed the issue.

I had luck uninstalling facebook and reinstalling it. Apple Music hasn’t stopped since when I went in and out of facebook.

How are you “closing” the Facebook app; by just going back to the Home screen, or by going to the App Switcher and swiping up on the Facebook page? If that is what you are doing, stop doing that with any app (not just Facebook).

Delete FB and reinstall. The newest version fixes the issue.

Delete your Facebook App, then reinstall it. It worked.

Just updated facebook problem fixed , it was Facebook issue they fixed it back to normality

Reinstalling the FB app was the only way to have this fixed

Don’t use fb app til fb get fixed. Log-in through fb login page.

i updated Facebook this morning and it fixed it for me

It has nothing to do with iOS 26. It has everything to do with Facebook, which is one of the buggiest widely used apps on the Internet. It is updated almost daily; the last update to Facebook was today, October 7, at 7 AM PDT. You can see if that updated fixed it.
