SMS verification code autofill stopped working in Chrome/Firefox

To clarify are you saying that Chromium intentionally disabled it or this is a bug with Chromium specifically? Bit confused by page you sent.

Following. Same issue here. Mac Mini M4 - dedicated Chrome user and the 2FA bubble has left the building. 2FA bubble works just fine in Safari - but "I don't work just fine in Safari."

Was testing Comet today and it worked. I’ve changed my 20 year search habit and never default to Google anymore - perhaps it’s time to consider Chrome alternatives.

Looks like it's intentionally disabled by the Chromium developer, and I guess any browser using the Chromium kernel would lose this function. You can see the commit message in that link.

Both the enable and disable commands are identical. Is there a typo there in the disable?
