Apple motion timeline menu properties

I'm using Apple Motion and want to be able to see the 'layer name' properties in the timeline menu, but for some reason they have all disappeared from my application, can anyone shed any light on this?

This is how it should be (Above)

But this is how it is...

Can anyone help me get the 'Layer Name' menu to display again?

Mac Pro, macOS 15.6

I've been using Motion for 18 years now, and I have *never* seen that icon arrangement you're showing in the first image. Whatever app you took that first screenshot from, it's not Apple Motion.

However, in Motion, make sure the Inspector and Project Pane icons are selected at the top left of the window, then select your Layer > Select Inspector at the top of the inspector column, then select the Properties "tab".
