Find My Mac doesn't work on MacBook Pro after MacOS26 upgrade

Hi, after upgrading my MBP 14" M3 to MacOS26, the computers doesn't show up in find my application as a device or at all.

Under System settings > Apple Account > iCloud > See All > Find my Mac is On

Under Privacy & Security > Location Services, I'd given permissions to Find My Mac

Under Apple Account > Devices > choosing my computer displays that Find my is Off

So far,

  1. I'd signed out iCloud, and asked to enter password to disable Find My Mac
  2. Disabled Find My Mac and made sure it is synced with iCloud and omitted from device list in iPhone
  3. Signed again, was asked to allow permissions to Find my Mac, Allowed and gave location permissions, Provided a password to the computer when I was asked to
  4. The device list is synced and I can see the MacBook under Apple devices in iCloud
  5. The MBP doesn't show up in Find my application in the iPhone app, in the mac app nor in the iCloud online web app

All apple devices were upgraded, i had an issue with iPhone mirroring that resolved only after I change the WiFi adapter IPv6 to local only.

I'll appreciate any advice here, i'm always traveling with my computer so its crucial it will be findable

David
