Books app keeps crashing on iPad despite troubleshooting steps

Books App keeps crashing every few minutes. I have tried everything there is to try except resetting the device.

I have

1. restarted the app
2. reinstalled the app
3. upgrade to os26
4. deleted all the latest pdfs downloaded since the app started crashing
5. disabled background refresh

nothing works !!!

and I work a lot on books app.
