Audio out of sync on Netflix after updating to tvOS 26

Same problem here, especially with AirPods Pro 2 & 3. In exasperation I tried switching OFF Match Frame Rate on Video settings and it seems to have fixed the audio sync issue on Netflix. Not ideal but a workaround that seems to work for my setup.

This has happened after my update to TvOS26 as well. Only seeing it on NFLX app. I offloaded the app and reinstalled it. Audio seemed closer to synced, probably because I so wanted it to be right…

iOS 26.0.1 seems to fix this issue for me. You might want to check it out for yourself.

Unfortunately yes after updating to tvo26 and it’s doing my head in.. have updated to latest Netflix app but audio is slightly out. Have no issue with Stan, Kayo and any other app but only happens with Netflix.

Same issue, primarily on most apps, but Netflix is unwatchable! I’ve done the iPhone sync multiple times as well, seems to make it “better” but if you have a large tv with close ups on faces it’s maddening!!

Tablo, antenna streaming also worse than others. I was like others praying this would make my HomePod mini setup even better but definitely not! Please fix!!

Same with the newest AppleTV generation and iOS 26. Audio sync with TV loudspeakers is fine. But it is out of sync with AirPods Max. Only Netflix has the problem and no other apps. And yes, it began with the upgrade to iOS 26.

Yep, happened to me as well. Other apps (HBO Max, Paramount+, etc) work just fine. Just Netflix is busted after the upgrade to iOS 26.

Yes, it has made Netflix unwatchable for me. It started after I updated my Apple TV hardware to the latest TVos. I hoped updating my HomePods would resolve the audio sync issue, but that didn’t resolve the issue.
