When opening Final Cut Pro, it takes a long time to open completely. It became clear to me that there is a group of Universal Audio plugins, which is the reason for the length of time it takes to open Final Cut Pro. What is the method for deleting or stopping Universal Audio from Final Cut Pro?

There's probably an installer/uninstaller from UA that can remove them completely. If you want to temporarily disable them, go into /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins and move them out into a temp folder. If you want to temporarily disable all plugins you can rename that Plug-Ins folder to something like Plug-Ins.disabled. Launch FCP and it should not see the UA plugins if you moved just those, or any audio plugins if you renamed the Plug-Ins folder.

As BenB says, there isn't an elegant way to manage AU plugins for FCP. If the plugins don't play nice in FCP, you will have to temporarily move them out of the PlugIns folder when you want to work in FCP and then back when you want to work in Logic.

You can't isolate AU plugins to one app or the other. Wish you could. You'd have to manually move them from the AU plugins folder to a temporary folder and back.
