Is anyone experiencing audio sync issues after updating to tvOS 26? It started with Netflix but now it’s happening on HBO MAX and YouTube. I tried Wireless Audio Sync but that only helped fix/calibrate external audio sources. The problem is more severe while using the TV speakers, and especially bad while watching Netflix

There are software updates issued today for tvOS. Please update your Apple tv to see if this issue is resolved.
iOS 26.0.1 seems to fix this issue for me.
It is a problem on Netflix and others with the tvOS 26 release. I haven't checked if there is an update, but I'll try tonight to see if it is the same.
It's especially with AirPods.
The newest software update fixed it for us!
Thank you for reporting the issue. I’ve not contacted support but these issues are usually fixed in collaboration between the platform and app developer. My guess is this is only happening to some Apple TV 4K models, otherwise we would have more users complaining about it. Hopefully we’ll get a fix once the new update rolls out. In the meantime we’re stuck using the TV’s native apps, which kind of suck once you get used to the Apple TV 4K.
It’s really a bummer, and apparently not a priority for them to fix it. We need to find a way to pressure Apple/Netflix into addressing these software issues within days instead of having to wait weeks—We had to wait more than a month last year for a bug fix that prevented the TV remote control from navigating the Apple TV UI

Good point, and I am currently stuck using the app on my Sky Q box which is not great
Same here with the latest generation of AppleTV and tvOS 26 when using AirPods Max. Only Netflix has shown the audio sync issues so far. Output over TV loudspeakers is OK though.

Stability issues with latest update 26.0.1 (23J362) where screen freezes or blanks out frequently using YouTubeTV and Netflix. The OS is buggy and needs work. Thinking of converting to Roku.
