so I downloaded IOS 26 and now my mom that is in my favorites is blocked. I’ve tried removing the block via contacts and also went to settings>privacy>blocked contacts and she still appears blocked. Every time I go to contacts and unblock she defaults to blocked. Not happy with IOS26

So to confirm, the blocked contact is displayed with “unblock contact” shown?
If you are using iCloud for your contacts, what happens when you view or change the blocked status of that contact via iCloud?

Haven’t a 16Pro? Are you speaking in code? I don’t understand what ever language you’re speaking.
Had the same issue, updated to iOS 26 last night overnight and saw that my dad was blocked this morning.
Several of my contacts were blocked. In some instances I could go to the contract and edit to Unblock. On many more, I unblock and it reverts back to blocked.
