Turning off Liquid Glass for light background and dark text with dyslexia

need help turning off Liquid Glass. Transparency and contrast settings and white point settings make it look like dark background and light text. I find this so hard to read with dyslexia. I need light background and dark text. Tried changing wall paper too that didn’t help. Help :(

Re: "Liquid Glass and Dyslexia : need help turning off Liquid Glass"

While there seems no way to just turn off Liquid glass ,there a several ways to go about improving matters,

yet it's not easy to guess what will suit you.

Thank you kindly for letting us know you already tried "Reduce Transparency" an "Increase Contrast".

It's good to know you have already experimented with those settings

Wondering whether inverting the colors can help you

ie: turn that dark background to light and that light text to dark

:

Apple Support has an article online with lots of details:

Change display colors on iPhone to make it easier to see what’s onscreen - Apple Support

Eg Says you can: "Invert colors"

  1. Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Display & Text Size.
  2. Turn on one of the following:
    • Smart Invert: Reverse colors everywhere except images.
    • Classic Invert: Reverse all the colors onscreen.

Else in that linked article above: You might want to try:

Eg: "Differentiate or tone down colors

You can apply a filter to

view the entire screen in grayscale,

adjust colors for color vision deficiencies,

or tint the screen a color of your choosing.

  1. Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Display & Text Size.
  2. Tap Color Filters, turn on Color Filters, then tap a color filter to apply it.
  3. You can drag any slider that appears to adjust the intensity or hue.

The pencils reflect how the filter affects a range of colors.

  1. Note: Color filters can change the look of images and videos."
