Unable to move or organize apps after iOS 26 update on iPhone 16 Pro

Since updating to IOS 26 - unable to rearrange app icons on home pages. (Iphone 16 pro)

When I press on icon, to move it, after it jiggles, it disappears; then when I let go, after a second, it pops up and reappears. But will not let me move, or add to a folder. I can only delete it.

I have tried: clear caches. turn iphone off. Pressing volume up, down, then pressing right button untill iphone goes off and restart.

Are we condemned to keep our iphone 26.1 screens with the same app disposition for many years to come ? Or is Apple actually going to do something about the problem like, maybe, FIX IT ?

I think they should have checked that before launching. Am still surprised that Apple would let this happen.

Like launching a new car. The steering wheel doesn’t work very well, but we’l see about that later….
