I am unable to add a new calendar entry . I have removed the app and then added it but still not working I also need to delete some calendars as no longer required but it won’t let me do this . Reall getting fed up with my iPhone and seriously considering to sell it and go to another type of phone as since A16 I’ve had nothing but issues. Get a grip Apple

You are not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user support forum and Apple does not participate here. I've not experienced problems with the native Calendar on any of my devices. Generally, problems with the ability to edit app content can be traced back to Restrictions. Those can be found in Screen Time. Go to Settings>Screen Time>Content & Privacy Restrictions, make sure that Content and Privacy Restrictions are set to Off.
