Apple TV box won’t allow password for wifi

I just got a new wifi. I’ve managed to set up two boxes, but the third one just skips past the network and says the password is wrong. It didn’t allow me to enter a password

What is the model of this third Apple TV box that won’t connect?

If that third one already had this SSID network name in its memory, then it assumes that it knows the credentials.

  • If you get a Forget Network option after the failed attempt, then use that to reset the connection.
  • If you do not get a Forget Network option after the failed attempt, then to override the existing credentials, navigate to the Other… option (below the listed discovered networks in the area) and then enter both the network name and password. You may have to do this twice, if it doesn’t connect at first attempt.
