No. It is however associated with a company that distributes notorious garbage that should never be installed on any Mac.
Rule 1 of Macs is don't install junk.
I didn’t it was a pop up that all of a sudden was in the settings of safari allowing downloads. Apple support told me to install malware bytes off of the internet and run a free scan, that’s all the help they are offering now, I was shocked. I got no answers to my research about the issue or the things I had observed behavior wise with the machine. It was the worst Apple experience I have ever had, and I still don’t know how bad my home network and computers/tablets/phone might be, he left the conversation while I was attempting to run the scan, and said if I continued to have issues to call back, it was so bad if not for the follow up email I wondered if I had really been on the phone with apple. So much for AppleCare +. I really don’t know what to do.
