Apple watch Ultra 2 watchOS 26 phone complication cannot be set.

After the update to watchOS 26 my phone complication is gone from every watch face. When I try to set it from the watch it appears as an option but the icon is weird and the complication sits empty. I tried doing it from the watch app on iphone and when I try to set it, it shows that phone is set for that section but Off is selected and no matter how many restarts I do it stays off, is there a solution for this or we are stuck waiting for an update to remedy the issue?
