Hi - since downloading ios26 last night, I’ve noticed that the calendar search facility no longer works on iPhone or iPad. It is not even working with new appointments entered since the update was installed. Has anyone else experienced this and can someone assist please. It is a function I use regularly. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear it still isn't working after the IOS 26 upgrade for some of you. I did find that I was having a search issue (after it was resolved). But the problem was on my end: I had selected only 2 calendars to search specific entries and failed to return to 'all' calendars. Then later when I did a search I couldn't find something I was looking for but remembered I had only 2 choices selected, after I changed the search to all...... VIOLA everything was back. This was on my iPhone 16+ and may MacBook Air M4. Maybe that will help someone.

I just downloaded the "Test" for Mac OS26 B2 and the search works again!! Didnt work on B1 like someone suggested but it does on the B2

In the 14 its settings search m calendar.
I updated to 26.1 today. The calendar search function has a malfunction. Tried all of the recommended fixes (some of them several times) but nothing worked.
Tried the suggestion to go to the calendar app and then “default calendars”. Select a different default and then change back to the original.
Did not work.
Until today, calendar search on 26.0.1 was working, but not on 26.1
Tried all the suggestions to no avail. Then suddenly this morning 26.1 calendar is working on both iPad and MacBook. Go figure.
UPDATE: I spoke too soon. iOS 26.1 calendar search on my iPhone is working right, but macOS 26.1 still is NOT. During search, it'll provide hits on the dropdown, but will show "no events" when done.

Same issue for me on both iPad and iPhone. Tried the suggestions here and nothing helped. Was working great before the las update.
