iPhone 16 Pro, just upgraded to iOS 26. The Mail app inbox text size is too large and
is truncated vertically. Tried adjusting dynamic type size in the settings and it doesn’t impact the inbox.

Issue is resolved. Somehow during the upgrade from iOS 18.7 to iOS 26 a Mail app specific setting got set or changed.
System Settings - Accessibility - Per-App Settings - App Customizations had an entry for the Mail app, I removed that entry and the issue was resolved.
It is certainly possible that I created that entry myself in a distant past. I certainly didn't do anything with it recently or during the upgrade from iOS 18 iOS 26.

I have the same problem with my iPad. If I change the Mail preview setting to "1 line' the problem goes away. But I prefer to view just the subject line, and when I change the preview setting back to "None" the problem occurs again.
I was on the phone with elevated tech support yesterday. He tried all kinds of things. The only way I can see all the writing is to make the text size tiny.
He said to wait for the next update.
Are any of you also noticing that the email date is no longer there?
I have the same issue. Has anyone found a fix for this besides the above accessibility setting, which didn't apply in my case? I can't even read the email title it's so truncated.
I'm having the same issue and its not the "Per App Settings" either, all my mails in the mail app are choppy, has anyone found the fix?
Forgot to add that I use "large text" and the issue only occurs when 'large text' is on.
