I've updated 3 of my Apple TVs to 26 and none of them are showing any images in the library. I just see empty squares.

What generation Apple TV? I’m still using the original Apple TV 4K. I had to force update to iOS 18. Excuse me tvOS 18, because Amazon no longer worked under TOS 17.
Why this jump from iOS 18 to iOS 26? That’s just absurd.
I’ve got the update being offered, but I usually wait until I can download the update package without installing it first, then it installs quicker later.

That is a matter of opinion. Apple has unified its numbering conventions across all of its devices. Given I could never remember what the version was of macOS, I find this very convenient. But seriously, why does it matter?
It’s confusing, considering they have never done this kind of jump before. But that is not the point. I just updated my first generation Apple TV 4K to tvOS 26.
But I just need to know what people mean by “library“, are you talking about the images that float across the top depending upon which app you have targeted? Apparently, only the apps that are in the top row will show images related to the app. In my case, I’ve got Apple TV, music, infuse, Plex, and photos. But when I go down to the second row, it does not show any images of top. I will have to look into my settings to see if there is something else that I might not have activated.
When I first looked at my Music “library“ it was blank, but only because I had not logged into the music app at the time, after I logged in it, it filled with my most recent additions
OK, I found the library in my photos app, it seems to be working fine there
The library in my music app is working fine…
My iTunes purchases library is all there, I recognize everything that I bought
Any app that has a library feature is working fine so I’m actually surprised that my ancient Apple TV is doing what it needs to do with this new update.
I tried to use my other account because it wasn’t letting me post, my iPad has gone bugsputz, it says I’m logged in, but then it won’t let me post because it says I’m not logged in
I updated my Apple TV 4K 3rd gen to tvOS 26 and no issues with library thumbnails.
Apple changed to names of the different OS's to now reflect the upcoming year with the new OS updates instead of 19, 20 21, etc.
OS 18 to OS 26 (2026) instead of 18 to 19

TVos 26 is no showing any library thumbnails
