Technically the cracked Bezel can be replaced by a skilled technician....the Bezel is inexpensive, but the labor to do so may be expensive due to the extreme risk the tech takes performing a Bezel-only replacement since there are many very thin fragile display cables located directly beneath the Bezel. I've replaced the Bezel many times on my organization's Macs.
The tech also has to be concerned about whether that damage to the Bezel may have already damaged one of those very fragile cables. I felt certain that the Display was fine except for the Bezel, but after the repair the Display had lines on it. I was never sure if I caused those lines or if the damage was already done and went unnoticed until those cables were touched during the repair. It is possible a cable was weakened & is fine at the moment, but as soon as that cable is manipulated during the Bezel replacement...it may push that damaged cable over the edge.
For what it is worth, I'm the only tech in my area that actually performs such a repair even though I tried to teach my co-workers. Maybe it is because I've also repaired iPhones & iPads made a Bezel replacement easier for me to perform (it is still nerve wracking).
Do you risk a working laptop or try to have a risky repair performed which could result in a broken Display making the laptop unusable unless connected to an external display (with a 2018+ model, some things related to firmware booting or prompts after an OS update/upgrade which may only be shown on the internal display even when using Mirroring mode or ClamShell Mode).
