Does anyone else have problems with autocorrect in iPad in languages other than English? In my case, Catalan doesn’t work, although it does work perfectly fine in my iPhone with the latest iOS.

Tomorrow will see the release of new software, iPad26 and IOS26. I suggest updating software as the easiest first attempt.
if new software doesn’t help, please test the iPad with a different language (probably your best choice will be Spanish). You are looking to prove that autocorrect works in other languages on the same iPad. If that also fails you are probably looking at something not correct in Settings, rather than features enabled for different languages.
