I want to be able to find my ipad, but i dont want it to be logged in to my icloud

Hey Apple, fix this ASAP!

I want to be able to find my ipad (Find My App), but i don't want it to be logged in to my icloud because I dont want my family members to view my passwords, notes, icloud files etc.

It is such a risk of privacy and security!

  • You should be using a unique Apple Account that is not being shared.

Make sure that each family member has a unique Apple Account - Apple Support

  • If you are using Family Sharing, you must have an Apple Account and the Organizer controls what you can and cannot do. If you are of age, you do not need to belong to a Family Sharing account. No notes, passwords, or iCloud files are shared unless that has been allowed.
  • For a user that has their own Apple Account, no information is being shared with anyone else as long as you have not given them your Password to your account or they have access to your device with the Passcode.
  • There is nothing that needs to be fixed. It seems there is something else going on that would put your privacy & security at risk. If your parents bought you the device, then you are subject to their rules and they could even take it away if they wish.
