Hi ColemanJB,

Re: "My new iPhone won’t connect to my 2017 Tucson. I believe j have everything enabled on the phone but the car is not recognising it for set up."
Wondering if you have you checked through the Tucson's car manual / set-up advice, or checked with Tucson.
(Eg: Sometimes a firmware update is necessary, and may be available via the manufacturer's support website.)

Re: "The cord is working to charge the phone".
Wondering if you are using the original Apple cord ... usually ok.
ie: some third-party (non-Apple) cords are just for charging, and may not transfer data, stream etc..

Re: "Any advice would be greatly appreciated"
Keeping iPhone updated to the newest compatible iOS version often sidesteps issues:
(Eg: Check in Settings > General > Software updates ... Back up iPhone first, if you choose to update.)

Else: Try restarting iPhone, and car,
ie: may overcome difficulties by re-establishhing the connection (and nuch more) to restore order,
