Inaccurate white balance on iPad 9th gen camera

My lights are 5000k. My Android, both on auto and manual, gets it close. No matter what I do on the ipad 9, the white balance is yellow. I have used Pro Shot to set the white balance manually to 5k and it's even more yellow. I suspect it's the ipad and not the program, bc the ipad in just the camera app is also yellow. I am speaking of the pictures themselves, not the display. Can anyone help? It is not an M1 but I would not expect an Apple product to be this dismal. Thank you
