Apple Watch 11 bought in Puerto Rico - Will it have blood oxygen app enabled to work on the watch?

I am going to Puerto Rico for vacation.

If I buy an apple watch there , will the blood oxygen app work with the reading through the app on the watch itself

(without having to use the iphone workaround for the US to view the reading).

I understand the blood oxygen app restriction/availability is based on the country of purchase.

So if bought in US and take elsewhere it won't work on the app on the watch, you have to read it in the health app on your phone.

If bought elsewhere it will work on the watch app (but your subject to the local network bands etc)

I looked for Puerto Rico on the list of features for watchOS26 - and Puerto Rico is not listed.

Is it part of the United States model?

Anyone here from Puerto Rico can they verify if the blood oxygen app works on the watch?

Recent Apple Watch support for pulse oximetry is via Health app in the US, including Watch sold in Puerto Rico.

Apple Watch US models with pulse oximetry use models ending in LL/A, and the more recent models without local pulse oximetry use LW/A. Current Watch models in Puerto Rico are LW/A; with no local pulse oximetry.
