My Apple Watch doesn't make any sound and runs out of battery quickly

I bought a new Apple Watch 10, and when I turned it on, there was no sound at all. I updated it, but the sound still didn't work.

The battery drains instantly. It only takes a couple of hours to fully charge it. It seems to me that this is a factory defect.
