Clarification on Keynote License for YouTube Video Use
Hello,
I would like to confirm how the Keynote Software License applies to publishing videos made with Keynote.
My understanding is that the rule about not using Apple’s built-in elements (shapes, clipart, artwork, etc.) on a standalone basis means they cannot be sold or shared separately, outside of a Keynote project.
If I create a presentation using only Keynote’s built-in features — such as text, shapes (icons, boxes, etc.), tables, and animations — am I allowed under the license agreement to:
- Export the presentation as a video file, and
- Upload and monetize that video on YouTube?
To clarify, none of the built-in elements would be distributed or monetized on their own. They would only appear as part of a complete educational or informational video, which I may upload either as a standalone video or as part of a larger video.
Also, is there any requirement to mention or credit Keynote when publishing this type of content?
Could you please confirm that this use complies with the Keynote license?
