Clarification on Keynote License for YouTube Video Use

Hello,

I would like to confirm how the Keynote Software License applies to publishing videos made with Keynote.

My understanding is that the rule about not using Apple’s built-in elements (shapes, clipart, artwork, etc.) on a standalone basis means they cannot be sold or shared separately, outside of a Keynote project.

If I create a presentation using only Keynote’s built-in features — such as text, shapes (icons, boxes, etc.), tables, and animations — am I allowed under the license agreement to:

  • Export the presentation as a video file, and
  • Upload and monetize that video on YouTube?

To clarify, none of the built-in elements would be distributed or monetized on their own. They would only appear as part of a complete educational or informational video, which I may upload either as a standalone video or as part of a larger video.

Also, is there any requirement to mention or credit Keynote when publishing this type of content?

Could you please confirm that this use complies with the Keynote license?

Thanks. I realize this is a user forum and not Apple support, and I’ve read the official license. I’m asking here because sometimes users or community members have dealt with similar questions or have received clarifications from Apple in the past, so I thought I’d check for real-world experiences or interpretations.

I’m not expecting anyone here to provide official legal advice—just hoping for practical input or to hear how others have handled using Keynote content in public videos (especially with YouTube monetization). If anyone has feedback, it’d be much appreciated!

Thanks.
