I am new to MacBook Pro and trying to learn iMovie. I am downloading my 8mm family movies to a DVD. Then I am taking the DVD's and converting them to MP4. From there I hope to upload the movies to my Mac and edit them on iMovie. I am looking for one-on-one turtoring to learn this. Do you know of anyone who can help me? Does the Apple store have classes for the apps like iMovie?

The best online tutorial that I have seen is Apple's iMovie Help. It has a great search feature where you can search by descriptive word or by subject. It contains step by step instructions for Mac iMovie's main features.
