Protecting iPhone 16 Pro Max camera on a construction job with sliding cover

Just upgraded my husband to the 16 pro max. I’m worried about the camera as he often has screws and such in his pocket. Although I have read how many people have never damaged a camera lens I somehow damaged the 8 lens with keys in my purse. I can get him a phone with the sliding cover. Will this possibly damage the lens? He wanted the larger phone so I got it for him, knowing that he might break the camera; I’d still like to protect it somehow.

if you can not keep yourself from putting screws in your pocket, put duct tape over the lens(?)

You can use your google search for aftermarket third party phone case with a some sliding lens cover if in doubt.
