Payment sent to me is still pending

I set up my Apple Pay on my iPad Thursday, I was sent money on Friday evening and it still says pending. I have my virtual Apple Cash Card and a card to transfer the money to all set up. But for some reason the $110 I was sent is still just sitting there pending even though it is already Saturday. Do I have to wait since I just set up my Apple Pay? Is it the amount? Or am I not doing something I need to.

You’re right, everything sure looks ok.


Maybe just a combo of a new account + incoming cash from a 3rd party + a weekend.


Banks are under some pretty draconian federal laws intended to prevent money-laundering, so they might just be performing their own due diligence.


If it doesn’t “clear” by Tuesday morning, you might indeed want to contact the issuer - Green Dot Bank.
